The next Velvet Lettuce is on Saturday May 23rd.

8:00pm to 1:00am

This is a ticketed event with limited capacity. Our last event sold out (THANK YOU) so get your tickets in advance. They are available at the counter during hours of operations. We will hold tickets if you call in advance up until Friday 22nd. You must pick them up by the 22nd or they will be up for grabs on Saturday. No tickets will be held at the door.

Hello Friends!

May long weekend is here and we will resting the cafe Saturday May 16th through Monday May 18th and back in the swing on the Tuesday 19th.  We hope everyone has a great long weekend…fingers crossed for SUN!

Ok, so, there has been a little hiatus on the site on account of a very busy month (ahem..a month and a bit), but we are back to give you a little update.

VELVET LETTUCE UPDATE::

We had a couple of really great Velvet Lettuce nights with a mix up of DJs and and new visitors. Though we love having this night, we don’t want it to be a case of ‘too much of a good thing’, so we have decided to let the night chill for a bit.
We are talk about making it more of a once a month event, rather than every other week. Feel free to give us some feed back on this matter. We are have some plans but would be happy to hear your thoughts.

ALSO…
On January 31st, our good friend, Tarah, had her website, wallfarmers(dot)ca, launch party/art show here at the cafe and it was AMAZING!!!! You should go see her website and check out all the incredible artists and upcoming art shows going on in both Canada and the US. http://wallfarmers.ca/
Some of the work is still farmed out on our walls and it’s for sale. The website has the prints for sale as well, but for our friends, they are a little bit cheaper.
